July 23, 2007 · Print This Article
Welcome to another week of Women blogging. I have no heard from this weeks host, so we will be hosting at All for Women this week. We are getting a great list of Women putting their hand up for hosting, I look forward to the carnival visiting those ladies in the coming weeks.
A couple of things before we get started. When adding you links, be sure link directly to the post you have chossen to share this week, not just to the home page of your blog. Also, linking to the weeks host letting people know you are participating in the carnival and where they can find it, like I am participating in this weeks All Women blogging carnival at hosts blog.
So here we are on with the show, have a look at All Women blogging carnival if your new to this, or not sure how it works.
Star posts this week.
Thought it would be nice to highlight some great submissions from the carnival in the post with star posts of the week. Will update this through out the week.
- Becky at Just a girl in short shorts has a great post about the battle of the bush, waxing and shaving the nether regions with a hilarious video clip.
- Tea Party Girl is having a giveaway, and she has said she will happily post to Australia. So be sure to hope over and check it out.

I think I’d offered to host - hopefully I’m not the one who forgot this week. If I am I’m really sorry. I’m still more than happy to host and if you still want me, please let me know what I need to do, and when. Many thanks.
I think it may have been a time zone thing, but due to a lo of Australia bloggers, as per the carnival page we really need it up no later than 11am Monday.
No Jen, you are safe, you week is next week
Glad I found this carnival!
I wrote this week about hosting an August Backyard Tea Party Event–on a budget. Please come by for a visit! I am also hosting a contest starting today and yes, I will ship to Australia!
[…] All for Women blogging carnival. This is an excellent weekly carnival that rounds up the best of women blogging every week. Submit your best post. (If you want to see the week that I entered the carnival was hosted by Pearls of Wisdom that week.) […]
Hi Leigh
I wondered what had happened. I keep checking both yours and the hostesses page - I began to doubt that it was even Monday!!!!
It’s lovely to see the Carnival growing too. When I leave comments on submitted blogs I always say, “Here via the All for Women Carnival”, just to aid the marketing a wee bit.
I h ope it is not terribly gosh to enter yourself–but I thought this looked like fun.
I probably would not have entered the post I did– except it has gotten so much reaction –and primarily from women–it is about hair south of the bikini line:)

I look forward to hosting next week. In the meantime I’ve added my submission for this week’s carnival (Semantically Driven). It’s a recent post about what happened when I found out I was pregnant (my son is now 6 years old - that’s how long it’s taken me to write it).
Girls it’s nice work , so go on!

Thank you so much for mentioning me. That was a fun post and a lot of women enjoyed it–of course, the girls on the vid going through their first waxing made the whole post!
I just love this carnival–all the posts were great.
This week I submitted one on “Mombian Spaz Attack” where as result of a perfect storm my daughter ended up with the rare, but ultimate punishment in our home— a bare bottom spanking with the backside of a hairbrush (Yes–I can be one of THOSE kind of mothers). It is a story that also deals with an incident of a mother who didn’t care what their child does.
As controversial as the subject of spanking is, I was surprised by how most of the women who have comment have given their endorsement–and it has been guys who have been the naysayers.
I am looking forward to feedback from all of you–whether you agree I acted appropriately or not.
