You are what you drink

You are what you drink

Do you know what is in your tap water? Or the environmental impact of bottled water consumption? Until recently, it wasn’t something I had given much thought to. We use a lot of bottled water in our house each week, purely for the convenience. Tap water can be a chemical cocktail with many impurities, chlorine, bacteria, sodium, fluoride, nitrates just to name a few. When you stop and think about the journey water makes from the catchment to your tap and all the possible contaminations that it comes in contact with, as well as those that are purposely added. With our bodies made of up to 70%,  it makes sense that you would want to use the cleanest water possible to hydrate your body. cardboard-casks.jpgNoble’s Pureau is an Australian owned company dedicated to producing pure and environmentally friendly water. It is Australia’s only water that is 100% guaranteed to be completely free of all impurities. The water is pasted through a unique 3 stage filtration system, the most advanced of its kind in the world. The end result is water that actually tastes clean and fresh, unlike any other water I have tasted. Noble’s Pureau water comes in 5 and 10lt casks and are available in most supermarkets around the country. The cask are fully recyclable, and made in part with recycled materials.  The plastic components of the packaging contain 75-90% less plastic than that of an equivalent plastic bottle or container. There is also a big saving in fossil fuels when transporting compared to similar bottle products. By choosing Noble’s Pureau water in a cardboard, recyclable cask you can help reduce your family’s carbon footprint as well s many added health benefits. I was recently contacted by Nobel beverages, a company in my local area, interested in a product review. I get many of these every week, most are ignored. I will not plug a product I don’t or wouldn’t use just for a freebie and never for money.

absolutely! i have not used tap water for anything but washing in many years now.. i keep wondering why people still drink tap water! surely the taste, the smell, and the cloudiness it has some days is enough to put people off? not to mention the giardia and cryptosporidium scare of a few years ago now.. dead dogs in dams don’t help!

i actually use Noble’s water as i agree with the cardboard carton it comes in, also takes up less room in the recycle bin. :)
