APEC Public Holiday

If you are lucky enough to work in the Sydney metro area, the NSW Government has so kindly given you the day off on the 7th September for the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) Summit.

It seems to me though, if they can use youtube and emails, what’s wrong with Johnny hooking up with is APEC buddies via webcam? Wouldn’t it be much cheaper and easier that way.

The public holiday will only apply to the following Local Council Areas:

  • Ashfield
  • Auburn
  • Bankstown
  • Baulkham Hills
  • Blacktown
  • Botany Bay
  • Burwood
  • Camden
  • Campbelltown
