Back to School
The count down is on to back to school time. We just get over Christmas/New Year and then jump straight into the chaos and expense of preparing to get the kiddies off to school again.
We have put together some information to help make Back to School a little bit easier.
Do you have a little one off to school for the first time? I do (though I am trying not to think about it, it’s too soon to cry!). NSW Dept. of Education has put together a great little booklet with some handy info for new parents.
Back to school dates
Back to school dates vary from state to state and between Public and Private schools, many states returning on the 29th-30th. Check the details for your state or check out the noticeboard outside your school for details.

Personalised kids labels
Personalised labels are a great way to help protect all the expensive uniforms, stationary and other bits and pieces the kids need for school (and seem to be very good at misplacing!)

Great overview! There’s no way I’m ready to contemplate back to school – it’s way too soon. My DD is already nagging me about the obligatory “stationery run” :(
well we just spent a couple of days in the city so I did all te back to school shopping, kids have it sorted & labeled ready to go back :)
Oh.
That first day is so hard.
I’ll be thinking of you as you see your little one off to big school.
Next year my eldest will be off to highschool. Another toughy, I’m sure.
We went to the shops yesterday and there were crazed parents running around filling their trolleys with stationary and school stuff. I’m SO not there yet… Christmas is still fresh in my mind and the Christmas moths are still in my wallet!
I am pleased to say I am all finished. I quite like Back to school shopping (for now, till it gets really expensive).
We went and got the rest of the stuff yesterday, early before all the crazy ladies hit the shops fighting over rolls of contact.

I loved the Bright star link I ahve been wanting to get labels for the twins drink bottles and didn’t need 40 – was looking for split packs – BRILLIANT – I just ordered them.
