All for Women Birthday Meet

Posted last week about an All for Women birthday meet we are organising. Great to see many girls coming along. We’d love to see you there, if your in Sydney and can join us. Even Megan is coming all the way from Cairns!

Sheila, and the sisterhood of the travelling bra

Sheila  has been in South Australia this week, visiting with Jen. Check out the pictures in our Flickr gallery. Sheila is now on her way to Kim on the NSW Central Coast.

Megan from Imaginif is one very brave Woman, putting her boobs on the the line to bring awareness to Women’s Issues.

I <3 Megan so much, she is such an amazing inspiration to all Women, just when you think she can’t out do herself..she does, and then some!

If you have been following our travelling bra, Sheila , you will know she spent a wonderful Christmas with Megan. Visiting her family and friends as well as some very beautiful parts of her backyard.

New Years Eve, Megan was contacted by the Cairns Post interested in learning more about Sheila and doing and interview and photo shoot with her.

The story ran today. With a picture of Megan and Sheila strutting their stuff down the main street of Cairns, turning lots of heads and getting lots of attention from the tourists.

Sheila is now jetting her way to visit Elizabeth from LaToriana and then onto Rachel.

Top 50 Australian Women Bloggers

Time again for the Top 50 Australian Women bloggers list. New or Returning blogs this update Working Solo and The Tall Poppy.

As yesterday was the 1st of the month, I am going to take the opportunity to switch to monthly updates on the first of every month. There are a few blogs that are ping ponging in and out of the list each update due to Alexa, so hopefully this will stabilise that. With the switch, we will also go to a Top 100 format.

Sheila the travelling Bra

Sheila has been having a great time the last few weeks. She spent a wonderful weekend on the Central coast with a bunch of good friends and has just had a lovely Christmas with Megan in Cairns.

I think I have found a good solution for the map, still trying it out, but this one seems much better. So you can see all the places and people Sheila has visited so far.

Travelling Bra Update

Wow, we have had a great response to the travelling bra, with over 20 ladies joining in so far! It is set to be visiting some great places around Australia and into the US. I can’t wait to see all the pictures.

The bra is now visiting with Naomi, and will be off to see Patric in the next few days and we will get some more pictures added.

There is now a page, with all the details on how it works, the name list and our map…Sisterhood of the travelling Bra. All the updates and tracking will be happening there.

It’s never too late to sign up, if your wanting to join in the crazy fun!

Have you read or seen, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants? A story were a bunch of friends connect with each other all over the world through a pair of jeans. Now, our bra may not fit us all perfectly well like the jeans in the story, but I’m sure it will do a great job of connecting us all, with a bit of fun.

Do you want to join The Sisterhood of the travelling Bra? Let us see how far this Bra can travel, and all the wonderful place, maybe even famous places all over Australia and the world that it can visit. There will be a map to plot our little bra as it makes it’s journey visiting everyone.

Now don’t be shy girls, no one is going to think your strange having your picture taken in public wearing a large pink bra!

 

Here is the first picture, of me and the lovely bra! Next it is off to visit Naomi, then Patric and Barbara…who will be next!

So how does it work? If you want on the list contact me and you will be put on the waiting list. Then you patiently wait till it is your turn for the bra to visit you. Once you get it, write your name on it then take a picture of yourself and it..have some fun and be creative! Please, if your not going to take a picture of yourself with the bra, don’t ask to be put on the list.

Once you have taken your picture, add yourself to the map and send us your picture. Then quickly post it onto the next lady who is anxiously waiting her turn.

*Update* We have had a great respone, I was a little surprised but super happy so many of you are willing to take your pic in public wearing a bra and post it for the world to see. Go us!

Also a few people have been “ewww” and “gross” about the idea. Obviously, the bra is brand new. It’s not some old scungey one I pulled out of my draw (it’s a tad too large for me anyway!) And when it goes to visit everyone, your wearing it on the outside people! No copping a feel for this little pink bra.
