one capful of eucalyptus oil in the Washing water will make your whites very very white.. and your colours nice and bright too. and will halve the amount of washing powder that you use...

1 capful of eucalyptus oil to 1 litre of water in a spray bottle is a good stain remover.. a few drops of orange oil added as well, will help to remove stubborn stains...

cheers from an old tree-hugger

We use BiCarb for almost everything. One of my counsellors recently removed the coffee stains from inside all the cups by sprinkling with salt before giving them a scrub. I hadn't seen that one before.
I wonder if readers will also commit to swapping just one cleaning product for a natural cleaner come Earth Hour, when all the lights are turned off for an hour. Go buy a natural product as listed above and be ready to replace the domestos when if runs our after Earth Hour. Make the swap and save the planet for our kids. Little things make a huge difference to our environment.
