I've never heard the song. I'd probably hate it as much as I hated the book. Why do women like men who treat them badly?? (Although I was very young when i read it, I probably missed the point).

20 years ago I was nine and not really into music. Also, where I grew up we only had 2 television stations so I never saw video hits or any thing like that. What a deprived upbringing ;(

I loved that song & really like Kate Bush's music. I thought she released a new CD a couple of years ago. I must be getting old.

I loved the story Wuthering Heights too.

Julia , I think she has released a new CD just recently or just about to. She has been a recluse for many years now. She has had a son quite a few years ago and that information was only just released. I wonder what she looks like now? Do you remember those fine porcelain faced features of hers?

Yes floria, she was a very beautiful woman. I think just about every male between 16 - 45 in the 1980's fancied her.

I didn't know she had a child. I bet KP (from C-W) would be thrilled, she is a huge Kate Bush fan.

LOL - lots of comments good and bad. It's good to know everyone's point of view tho. My hubby just had his record collection shipped over from Sweden; he hadn't seen it for about 15 years and amongst all of the collection was the Kate Bush 'The Kick Inside' album. I played it straight away just to hear the song 'Wuthering Heights'. It is still strange sounding to me but I like it.
I thought I might add a bit of info about what I have read about what she was upto lately - Did you know that she has her own magazine? It's called Homeground and apparently she is coming out with a new album this year. I don't know what the album was called or if it has come out already. Hmmmm I think I need to get out more. LOL
