Well I'd say one (the circle), or is the pointy bit an edge too?
Here's another question for you. Why won't my baby go to sleep, even though he's really tired? (Okay, trick question, there is NO answer to that).

LMAO I found that Naomi, and got even more confused than before LOL
I thought 1, or 0. Depending on what definition of an "edge" they were given. I rang mum, thinking my brother and sister would surely know ( 15 and 12 ) and they said 3, well I know that's wrong (I must have gotten the bigger share of brains LMAO )
Guess will have to wait till Monday to find out now Dr Math is no bloody help LOL

My answer would have been 1 edge. But after reading naomi's link I'm very confused :dk:
My question is Why do they give such difficult homework in year 1? Do they think all parents are genius's LMAO
Sorry Naomi can't help you with your question :dk:

I've got a question for you.....
When in life, is anybody really ever going to need to know how many bloody edges a cone has. All I care about is what flavoured ice cream the cone has inside it...lol

LOL Jewly, No, I have no idea why he needs to know and driving me mad in the process.
The answer was 0 for all those who needed to know LOL
Hello all... well, I read that thread with much amusement!! I was thinking to myself, if its a picture of a cone, then I'd say 3 edges, but if its a 3d cone in real life, then I'd say only 1... then I got to the bottom and the answer was 0!!! How does thatn work?? I always knew maths wasn't my strong point, but I didn't think I sucked at it that much! Please explain... LMAO
