Renovations Update

Hi Girls,

Finally making some headway. The brick fence has started (the things you do for your dogs :roll: ) so I can't wait to see Harry & Potter enjoying the front yard!

The guest bathroom is almost finished ..just have a mirror to go above the sink and the glass shower doors to be fitted.

The ensuite is getting closer ..the loo (out of sight to the right of the small window) will be fitted tomorrow, the mirror and glass shower wall (we are having it all open - no door) have been ordered. I think the bath is ready to be popped in the hob. So not long now!

Wow Pam, it all looks lovely!! I bet you are thrilled to bits with it all!! Did you ever decide on pictures for your loungeroom wall? I know you liked the warratah and gum tree one, did you ever get it done?

Yes, would you believe I just started doing some oil paintings on the weekend! I have changed my mine on the paintings tho, I'm still doing gum tree's but a different scene. I'll take some photos for you and post them for you tomorrow. Poor old Creativity Forum could do with a post ey LOL

Pam, I have been so slack! I had huge hopes of getting right stuck into my craft this Winter, but so far, I haven't done anything!! :roll: Oh, sorry, I did! I made one of those peek-a-boo dolls for my Mum.

She wanted two, but I cannot buy those big polystyrene balls over here! There might be a chance if we had a Spotlight, but the nearest one is in Christchurch, about an 8hr drive away!! :) So, she only got one.

My scrapbooking hasn't been happening either..... I just might have to do something about that this week!! ;) Looking forward to the pics Pam. :)

The Brickies have just left :) Really pleased with the new fence. In between the brick pillars will be black metal grills - the gates will be the same. Plain, nothing fancy.

Would you believe the brickies we still cleaning up the brickwork and a man walked past and poped his junkmail in my letterbox! Sheesh! It's still wet! *runs off to buy a No Junk Mail sign*

Glad this photo was taken from a distance so you can't see our messy garage. :blush: Still haven't cleaned it out from the floods! I am off for the day to do that now :( Will have to totally empty out the garage and hose it out. I am scared I'll see a spider... garages always have lots of spiders... ..usually big ones too... I better go before I talk myself out of doing this chore LOL

I don't envy you the task of doing the garage! (Nor the spiders who always seem to be lurking about in them!!)
