Sheesh! Just finished baking over 120 biscuits. Found a great recipe for lovely biscuits and decided to make a few alterations ...choc chip, sultana, mm's, jam drops and cherry and pistachio are what I ended up with. They look fantastic so hope they taste as great. I will post the recipe in the recipe thread if anyone is interested. Enjoy!

Did they pass the taste test? Which ones are your favourite?

OMG what on earth will do do with so many biccies....email us some!!!

I have never made things from scratch, I tried one of those bake at home cookie mixes the other day, it wasn't too bad.

Leigh you should try this recipe it is so easy...I'm sure you can't go wrong! As to what I am doing with them all...Adam has taken a large jar of them to work to put in the tea-room (he has just been given a promotion to shift-leader so I thought they might all enjoy them) and Callum is having a 14th birthday party here on the weekend. His friends are coming out to camp here and get up to all kinds of stuff so I am sure they will devour the remaining biscuits very quickly.

Floria they were all really yummy, my personal faves were the cherry and pistachio nut ones...not sure they would appeal to every one though.

Pam the 120 + biscuits are not really big one, really just a bite size. You know I was thinking that one day all of us QLD 'All for Women" members should organize a day to meet up in Brisbane for lunch...what do you think about this idea girls?

I would love the recipe for these biscuits. At the moment, I am finding it very hard keeping up to my lot with biscuits and cakes! They come home twice a day (an hour at a time) for feeds, and usually bring a mate or two with them! They are always starving, as they work long hours, and it's hard work!! This recipe could be the answer to my prayers! :pam:

Anne I have posted it in the recipe link but here it is again just for you! :)

500g of softened butter

1 can of condensed milk

4 1/2 cups of S.R. Flour

Beat softened butter and condensed milk with electric beater until soft and fluffy, add the flour a little at a time and mix well.

You can then add whatever you like to jazz them up....fruit, nuts, choc etc.

Place small balls (about teaspoon full) onto greased trays (flatten with a fork if you like) and then bake for 10 -15 mins in oven 180 - 200 degrees.

Anne I hope your mob likes them, they were a real hit here! :)

This recipe also freezes really well. MAke the whole batch (I use it with choc chips) and divide the uncooked mixture and roll into logs and freeze. Then when you want biccies, pull one out, let it soften and cut it up and bake. (or eat raw if your in a raw cookie dough mood :P )
