Both my girls are tiny one is under 5ft and the other is just 5ft and both are around 45kg, They never have a problem with clothes, in fact I envey them they can just walk in and buy anything, If anything I have trouble being tall, pants never long enough,

what about the teenage section of the stores, I can sometimes buy the odd t-shirt from that section as it sits better on my shoulders, what about the petite section at Myer?

some stores also offer alterations for free, some jeans stores I mean...

Op shops have a stack of variety...

I have always been short and have the same trouble. I have learnt that I can't wear a lot of skirts unless I'm willing to take them up, yuk. Jeans I role or let drag, I know, I'm a dag.:hehe: I am not as tiny as I used to be, I used to shop a lot in the teenage section. Sometimes it depends on the fashions at the time. There used to be a shop called silloette (not quite sure how to spell it). They are gone from my area now but if you know of them they stock clothes for small people, good range.

I tried on a pair of 'short leg' jeans in Target a year or so ago, they dragged:headh: Good luck

What about shooping in the Petite sections of store. All our dept stores have a petite section.

Or jus hem stuff up. When I was a lot thinner, I always had to take my clothes to the drycleaners and they hemmed and fitted my clothes for me.

No, I will have to be content with clothes that don't fit. Even the clothes in the petite range are too big.

No way I am going to fork out extra to get them altered. And I nver go to the dry cleaners.

I'm short too and let the jeans/tracky dacks drag too!! Wearing higher shoes helps. Go shopping in the teens section, they have some nice clothes but are abit pricey!

Most kids are taller than me Laura, and stuff in the teen section is too big as well.

Can't shop in the children's section either, they don't allow for :boob: LMAO

One of my friends had a similar problem....she bought a sewing machine and took some learn to sew classes. What she started out of necessity she really enjoys now. Maybe you could do the same?

Check out the Recycled clothing stores around you.....I don't mean Op Shop.
I know of several Used clothing places that resell designer wear at a fraction of the cost........one of them (moved unfortunately) even regularly stocked ex catwalk designs.
There are also Online shops for hard to fit people, have you checked those out.
One last thought.......surely you haven't always thought your clothes ill fitting (clownish). Are you in a blue funk at the moment.............do you have a completely honest girlfriend who would go shopping with you?

Found some good possible sites for you .......
Type in Australian Online clothes shopping and see what you get.
Mycatwalk.com.au looked perfect for you (Size 6 Australian).
In Sydney we have stores that stock size 2 (Japanese market).
Best of luck.....hope this is helpful to you.
