BASIC BISCUITS.
500 gm softened butter
1 can condensed milk
4 1/2 cups SR flour
Beat butter and condensed milk with electric beater, slowly add the flour stirring well as you go. As I said in my other thread you can add whatever you like to the recipe such as choc chips, sultanas, nuts etc.
Place small balls (about a teaspoon full is good, and I flatten with a fork) on a greased tray and bake for 10 - 15 mins in oven at 180 - 200 degrees. Cool on a rack. This makes approx 120 biscuits. I am sure you could probably halve the recipe but I am not too sure what you could do with half a can of condensed milk? Maybe you could freeze it..?
