What kind of Advent Calendar do you use?

I bought a chocolate one that you have to open the little doors to get your chocolate. It is disposable
I also have one made of velvet that hangs up and you move the star every day

yeah i just bought the GKIDS a chocolate one (NO i didn't eat their chocs)

The kids use the chocolate ones you buy at the shops.

This year Tyler has got a Bart Simpson one and Scott has got Pirates of the Caribbean.

They both have a small gift in them as well which they can't get until they open the door for 25 December :hehe:

My mother always bought us one when we were kids and I loved it, It was hung on the bedroom wall and everyday you opened the little window and there was always a beautiful Xmas pic behind, then she started the tradition to buy one every year for all the grandkids those choc ones I hate the choc ones not half as pretty but the kids liked them, so I thought this year I am a Nana so I will carry on mums tradition and I bought Briar one, you can only get the choc ones here, I showed my daughter and Briars not allowed it ;( she doesn't want her having Chocolate :P So now my 18 year old has it on her wall and is loving it. my baby is allowed all the chocolate she wants:P :P :P

we dont have one at all. I would have to buy 6, and the twins would cheat on it and sneak days off to make it go faster LOL Just got a plain calender and crossing the days off

my joshy admitted to me today that he & his sister ate all the chocs in their calender ( i pretended to be cranky & said i wouldn't get them one next year)
but inside i was LOL they are just like their NANNY bloody greedy LMAO

LOL, I would cheat and beat them(the kids) to it I think (if I had the chocolate one) just so I could eat them.. 6 small chocolates everyday..hmm... wonder if they have any left.

LMAO LMAO That is so like me Leigh!! I usually forget and when we do remember they have to open afew windows at a time. I have forgotten all together this year about them until reading this thread so I will grab some in the groceries tomorrow, (i usually just get the choc ones from Coles) they'll have to open about 5 just to catch up!!LMAO
