I am looking for a new one, the old one died ( and Jake, I told you I didn't throw it on purpose :Hehe: )

Anyone got a newish one? There are so many, it makes me shitty looking and I give up. I would rather not go into the store to look. I just want to buy one outright, and I don't want their bloody plans rammed down my throat.

Opps

I've got a Nokia 6230, pretty old now I guess, but it's really simple to use and it's got a camera, needed for when I am shopping and want to show you something LOL

Gra has just got a new Nokia 3230 and he not that happy with it. It's a bit of a brick, smsing is not easy, and you can't delete all messages at once.. numerous other things he finds annoying, I guess until he gets used to it. Gra thinks my phone is the best one he's had. He had an Erickson flip phone but took that back after 2 days - hated it. I don't like flip phones either

JUST DONT BUY A MOTOROLLA !!! they suck! i have a nokia 3120 i dont mind it, its new but fairly simple. doesnt have a camera tho (but is mms compatable) i paid $150 i think ...a couple of months ago. i got it thru voda as they have the caps now which are great. just shop around as one voda store i went to wanted twice the price for the same phone than another voda store 2 mins away.........just noticed your western syd ..........in blacktown theres 2 voda stores one near target or big w (in the new part) and another down near franklins (old part) .....DONT EVEN GO TO THE ONE IN THE NEW PART they are twice the price and are sleezy scummy "you know what" holes!

I got one of them flip phone things, a Sony something, I dunno, Trev organises that stuff. It has bluetooth facilities which I think is great for updating details and use in the car.

I don't care what kind phone I get as long as it is compact. I carry too much junk around in my bag.

i guess it depends on what you want on it... you could get a basic good one... colour screen etc for about $150 (some do have cameras as well)... i currently have a nokia 6100... i got it last year and bought it outright for $399... it is very outdated now (like with most technology) and i would love to buy the only nice looking nokia flip i can find at the moment in the 6101 which retails for $399 outright... it has a camera, video recorder, doesn't have bluetooth instead has the old tech of infrared.... has heaps of other 'standard' things as well... but instead of buying a new phone i got a new digi cam instead... i barely use my phone... maybe i will get a new phone for xmas.

I have a Nokia 3200. Does the job for me, even tho it took a little to get used to. The number pad is a little off-set from the normal phones, that's why. Like floria, I dont care what kinda phone I have, so long as it does the trick for me!! Features are: phone (of course..lol), camera, voice/track recorder (I have recorded part of a song and then made it one of my ringtones), ringtones for different groups, so you know whos calling, and games (for those boring moments when you have nothing else to do). That is all I can think of atm!! Colour screen!!

I have a Sony Erricsson which is about $129 prepaid. I actually got it from Mum because she decided she didn't like it and we swapped phones. She got my old Nokia 2100. Anyway, this phone has a colour screen, sms, no camera, extras like games, polophonic ringtones etc. Sometimes the screen is hard to see on a bright day and the buttons can be fiddly! But otherwise, it does the job!

I've got a nokia 6210. Great for me, especially for updating between the comp and phone. I have all my contacts on both, and when I add appts to either, it syncs that as well! I have no idea how much it was worth, we got it as part of a hardware credit with vodafone (Stu's business phone bills are HUGE). He doesn't like it, but I LOVE IT and continually knock back the constant offers for a new one!

I've got a Nokia 6230 and have never had a problem with it. It has the camera but it also has a radio which was one of the reasons I got it in the first place as I used to listen to the radio on the way to work. It's about a year old though so I don't know what is in the shops at the moment.

I have one of the new Motorola flip phones. I havent had any problems with it and it has heaps of features like camera, video recorder, java games and access to the internet. Some of the features I dont use cause they arnt necessiary but overall I find it a pretty good phone.
