Mine is The Wizard of Oz. Makes me feel like a kid again with not a worry in the world. I First watched it when I was about 6. Tried to get my 9 year old to watch it when she was around the same age but she was not interested especially when I told her there was a scarey bit in it even though I told her there's a happy ending she still didn't want to watch it. I might try again soon now that she's a bit older. I would love to watch it with her.

I have three that I cant choose between so please excuse my greed. I love Dirty Dancing always have since the first time I watched it, Grease I still love watching it today even though I have seen it a million times and some weekends my dd and I will watch it together, she is 9 and almost knows it word for word and lastly Ghost because I just do.

I love 'The Wizard of Oz' too Sonnie, I loved the cartoon of it as a child and now my girls watch the movie all the time. And just like Cassie I also love 'Dirty Dancing' and 'Grease'. My brothers and I used to watch Grease over and over until my mum was nearly having a fit!
As a teen I also loved 'Flashdance'.
For the last few years my fave has been 'Bridgett Jones Diary'. I've watched them both heaps after reading the books.:)

Top 5 movies for me.
They are:
Shindlers List (how powerfull was that movie)
Dead Man Walking (wonderfull performance by Sean Penn)
In the Name of the Father (truly mindblowing)
Forest Gump (honestly you just have to go with the flow don't you) and
Pitch Black (just for the sci fi factor and the Vin Diesel hunkiness)

these are the movies I would have to take with me if I was stuck on a desert isle.

My favourite of all time is.

Life is Beautiful

Made me go through every emotion (even though it was in Italian I forgot I was reading subtitles after the first few minutes)

Though I do love what most ppl refer to as chick flicks too :)
