What kind do you prefer? I have had the cordless, but am thinking of going back to the corded ones, as I am sick of running out of batteries, and this keyboard, ever since we first got it, will skip keys if you type too fast! The mouse, well I hated the cordless mouse! I ran out of batteries too often and didn't like it at all!!!

Soo, which do you prefer???

Also, does anyone have any recommendation for type of keyboard to get? This will be my third keyboard/mouse in 2 years!!

I'm thinking of going cordless keyboard but can live with the one I got now.

I used to have a cordless mouse that I had to change the batteries in it, way too often.. Maybe because I used rechargable batteries.

But my new mouse, I love it. It's cordless but it has it's own recharger cradle. It tells you when the battery level in low in your mouse and you then sit the mouse in the charger overnite and it's fully charged. Bit like a mobile phone. I bought it when Officeworks were having their sales.

Gloria, that sounds like a much better idea! I might have a look to see if I can find one like that. Thanks. :)

I've got cordless mouse and keyboard ..and I too was getting the peeved off with flat batteries - until I bought rechargeable batteries. I got batteries that charge in 15 mins - so the problem is solved :D

Also these batteries seem to last longer than normal batteries. Must be a different brand to Gloria's?

I have a cordless mouse and love it. Floria was always bitching about her old one (think she got a dud :Hehe: )
I have had no problems with mine, batteries last a long while. But I have always used rechargeable, as they last longer than a normal battery, and are cheaper. I actually ran my mouse last week for about 4 days on 1 battery with out any problems.

I wouldn't bother with a cordless keyboard though, I don't mind the cord when I don't have to worry about batteries or kids stealing it.

I have always used Microsoft keyboards and mouses (unfortunately) I have found them to be the better ones.

Lap top. I get confused when I go back to the big computer and keep trying to use the mouse in the middle of the keyboard. If I did use one all the time though, I'd be tempted to have a cordless mouse - I am left handed and DH is right handed and it gets to be annoying when you have to move the mouse all the time.

We have corded - both. I am looking at getting a cordless mouse, tho. The keyboard doesnt matter too much, as you dont have to move the keyboard as much as the mouse!!

I just had to charge my batteries up for my mouse. I'll try to remember and post back here when they go flat again and see how long they actually last. :)

 As if I'll remember

Leigh, looks like I could have got a "dud" one too, like Gloria. :(

Well, I think I "might" give the cordless mouse another attempt, but will get a corded keyboard. :)

Thanks everyone for your comments. :)
