Casino Royale

Rated (M) 145 mins

Stars: Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Eva Green

Saw this on Monday night...now I love Bond movies...so I was hanging to see it big time.

I would give it 6 out of 10.

Shows Bond before his 00 status, he is sent to Madagascar, which leads to a large terrorist cell to create havoc.

Bond proves himself as a killing machine (you need to have killed 2 people to become a 00) and a swift card player...which he is sent to play a high stakes game in Montenegro, at Casino Royale.

And the Bond girl, well she is more classy, (Eva Green) plays Vespa Lynd, a women who is employed to watch Bond and the millions he is playing with at the Casino Royale that the government are financing...(not a lot of sex scenes which does make a change) he does look very dashing in a tux though and driving the Aston Martin...(also notice that he drives a Ford which I could't work out except I now know that Ford own the Aston group).

Judi Dench is brilliant and she takes no crap from Bond and looks past his good looks...

Good thing about this Bond is that he gets dirty and cuts and bruises which I have to say is a far cry from Pierce Brosnan (who I think is very handsome)

Stunts are good, but I have seen better, storyline is far more believable and real than a lot of other Bond movies that Ian Fleming has written.

I was disappointed with all the hype, really Daniel Craig is very ordinary, sure he has a nice bod and very blue eyes...but Sean Connery and Roger Moore are the REAL James Bonds...

Unless your a big fan, wait till it comes to DVD, Foxtel or even wait for the TV to show it...

My Tt saw it last Thursday night....."enjoyable but nothing special" he said.
Sorry Sean Connery will always be the perfect 007 followed closely by Peirce Brosnan.

Di........I always thought CBT stood for Cognitive Behavour Therapy.

I am yet to see this one but I am looking forward to watching it to see what new breath Daniel Craig has breathed into James Bond.

I am not a James Bond fan can honestly say I have never seen a James Bond movie from start to finish. But I do like Sean Connery I also don't mind Daniel Craig I think people will like him once they get used to the change. But then again I haven't seen the movie or any others fully so I probably shouldn't comment, but I did anyway. :hehe:
