Do you worm yourself, and your family and how often?

I worm my kids when I worm the dogs and cats.. every 3 months :) I line the whole family up LOL

I haven't thought about worming as a precaution (rather than treating the worms directly). I can't remember the last time I had worm medication, probably when I was a child.

We don't do the cats more than once a year (get the vet to give them a tablet when we go for vaccs) - they are indoor cats so not as exposed to infection and they also vomit (at least, one of them does) when we use the supermarket wormers.

Is there a guideline or something about how often you should worm your family?
