Just bought banana's at BiLo for $4 a kg...

Ive been getting fruit from the markets here, much cheaper at around $4kg and its quite nice :)

I paid $4.95kg at the markets here today and they look so delicious, much better than the ones I got last week actually

Yep I bought a big bunch Wednesday...they are gone already, will buy some more tommorrow after work...they are so delicious....and the boys love them.

been getting them for $3 something a kilo, had 3-4 lots now and they r so great. Hardly hit the bench.

Yeah, we're seeing $3-4/kilo pretty regularly now ... it feels like things are basically back to normal. They did really well to get the crops up and marketable again within the year. Hats off to the banana farmers.

Bananas at Coles this week are $3.00/kilo, I just brought two big bunches, yummy, yummy!:)

I paid $2.99 a kilo last week at Safeway - I got so excited I bought heaps and they are now sitting in the fruit bowl starting to go off.

I think my boys are so used to not having them, they forget they are there now :hehe:

So guess who is making a banana cake today :)

At just under $4.00/kg we have been making banana smoothies yum!
