Last night we had Spaghetti Bolognese ..and I put heaps of fresh garlic (oops, the poor customers who talk to Gra today). When ever I roast vegetables, I love to roast cloves of garlic. Heaps of slithers of garlic get pressed into my leg of lamb too.

I must admit tho, I hate smelling someones smelly garlic breath. Is there a cure for garlic breath?

Who else loves garlic - but not the breath! Sometimes I go without the garlic just to avoid the yuk breath :( when I'd love to eat it when ever I like. And it's good for you too!

Do you cook with a lot of garlic?

Pam I too use alot of garlic and onions. Hate the after breath too though. I was told that chewing fresh parsley can help with the odour. I guess that wouldnt be too bad, there are worth things to try I suppose! :)

well i imagine that anything high acid would help as it does on the smaeels of your chopping board ......anything like lemon or pinapple juice.

incase you didnt know rub a cut lemon on your chopping board to rid smells and help clean it.

I love garlic as well and at the moment, my favourite thing to cook up is Garlic Prawns and it's so simple.

Just fry garlic in butter and then add peeled green prawns and cook for about 3-4 minutes until cooked.

I'm having this tonight.....Yum!!

Garlic Prawns would have to be my all time favorite meal. :D
I really love the creamy garlic prawns on a bed of rice Mmmmmmm
Funny though I wont eat them natural Yuk
I've only heard of the parsley trick as well.
Another trick with lemon though is to cut one up and boil inside your kettle to clean works a treat :D

I cant stand garlic!! I eat it when I use a jar of spag sauce but dont add it to any of my cooking & always omit it from recipes. Hate it when hubby had garlic bread as I smell it on him for days afterwards.
