Ok girls if there are any slack housekeepers like me about I have come across a new product that may interest you.........
Pine O Cleen, Direct Rapid Dry Floor Cleaner...no water required, just sprinkle on the floor and mop away. I have polished boards and it worked a treat on them.
Let me Know what you think if you try it :)
Mop with a dry mop? That sounds weird LOL I have a steamer for all my tiles (I have miles of tiles) but that sounds good for small areas when I don't feel like dragging out the steamer.

I tried it a few months ago, I thought it would be the answer to my prays.
But to be honest I thought it was crap. Maybe it is the fact that I have white tiles, or the mop I used. But it left the floors quite wet, then the spotty wet streak marks when it dried :(

Never heard of it before!! To tell you the truth, I dont think that I will try it either.....well, not til we get our own place with decent floors!! At the moment, we have that cheap lino throughout the house where lino normally is - landlord did a reno on the cheap. I find that it dries very quickly - probably just soaks in!!
Will keep it in mind for our house down the track, though!!

I haven't seen anything like that yet in NZ but I doubt it would be any good for my floors as they are very old, and it is taking ages to try get them clean as it is! There's years of accumulated dirt on them, so bleach, then a floor cleaner is the order of the day for a few more months I reckon. :( Thanks for telling us about it anyway, and if I see it, will recommend it for my Mum, who has a very small tiled area in her house, so it would be great for her. :)

New? This product has been out for years and I agree with Leigh, it's crap!!! I used it on my wood floors and it gushed out (not the "sprinkle" you described). I ended up having to get on my hands and knees and dry it off with a towel it made such a mess. Never again!

Oh dear! Thats terrible Jenny...I'm sorry for misleading you, my bottle actually says "NEW" on it so that is what led me to think that it was a 'NEW" product. I was able to sprinkle mine so maybe this NEW bottle has a NEW top on it?
Hands and knees is not a look I like so I am so glad that it worked well for me :)
I tried this stuff ages ago & hated it also. Wasnt worth the effort, didnt clean as good as I thought it was & worked out more expensive to use than the stuff you add to water in a bucket :(
