Is anyone game enough to hit the shops today or soon for any of the big sales that are on at the moment. I'm not, I have done in previous years but for some reason just not interested this year. Probably because it's too hard with the kids. What about you?

Shops aren't open here, either, thank goodness!

I've already spent too much without going to spend more.

Oh man, I saw on our news, the stores opening their doors for their sales this morning, in Sydney.

No way, would I be amongst that mad herd and getting trampled on. I wouldn't be able to breathe! :uhno:

I like to be able to go shopping, wander around and take my time. Don't like crowds like that, at all!

Gosh, well, I am heading to my Mom's house this weekend so I am sure we will go shopping at some point. She loves sales as much as I do! :)

We only went out to get more food. We usually shop at the Hyperdome but it was flat chat. Couldn't be bothered fighting with people to get a park, so we ended up heading up to the IGA in Daisy Hill and getting our prawns there. They were yummy too!! :D

Will probably go to Pac Fair one day this week with a friend or two. Only if it's not frantic though.

Hubby wanted to hit the sales yesterday, but I have had enough of the shops ATM, it is tourist season here for the next month so I will avoid Westfield as much as possible.

:hkitty: Thought about going today, but hubby and I had to take our kitty to the vet. Well, everyone in the family is fine now, but our pet has developed a huge bump. Never a dull moment! The vet says she should be fine. A reaction to her rabies shot.

:puppy: We have to get our animals vaccinated every year. A couple of years ago a young girl was bit by a rabbid animal. Thank God she survived and is doing o.k. She will have to have years of therapy. Pretty serious. Still around here.

This week, everything is 50%, but if I can hold out till Sunday, some stores go 75% then the 3rd week is 90%.

I will do my shopping Sunday Morning.

I went on the 26 th & got some really good deals. Ended up with a complete Victorian Village for a Main Street display. Everything was 75% off. Would have cost $378.08 but paid only $98.29.

Wait till you see it Donna. Besides the buildings I got a Gazebo, 2 horse & buggies, carolers, Victorian women & so much more. Waiting for Karen to stop in & approve it before I put it away.
I love a good sale.
