Now that Christmas is over for another year:D :D What is everyone's plans for New Years Eve?
We are going to watch the Mariners play Melbourne (football A League) at Blue tongue stadium, then watching the fireworks at Gosford waterfront, then probably on to the Leagues Club. We have booked a motel with friends nearby so we don't have to worry about getting home:hehe: I got some free tickets for a friend so she is taking her kids and my 2 ( I only have 2 that night)to the game and then home for the night.

Unless I'm working, I rarely even make it to midnight. But this year I was thinking we might have a BBQ down at the Gold Coast and maybe watch the fireworks.
I don't really know. New Years Eve isn't really a big thing for me.

Darby and Joan for me........the TT will be up at his Dad's......and my friends have invited me to sit on the foreshore with a multitude of strangers, watch the fireworks, then trek for miles back to the car/bus/train, but I have neither the inclination nor the stamina to do that.
Still I will have Rosie and Lewis...........might get a few movies that I want to see and have a movie fest..........with no interruptions.

Although we are going to a wedding in North Carolina this weekend...one of our friends is getting married the same day, the 30th in Denver. Instead of having a large reception, the bride's parents are throwing a huge New Year's Eve party the next night. We will fly in from NC and head to the party...should be a good time though I have nothing to wear...good thing Momma and I are going shopping! :)

I am supposed to be meeting hubby down at our beach house a whole bunch of us normally party on the beach have a bon fire, sing, dance, get tiddly, but I can do that any night down there so I am going to make up an excuse not to go down closer to the day so no one has time to talk me out of it, can't really be bothered, Could even be looking after Briar by then, so far her father is but that could change any time :P

yep the fireworks are at the Maitland river so that where we will be, should be home reasonably early tho because they have the crackers at 9.30 for the kids altho they have rides & stuff there to but ofcourse that makes it bloody expensive then
