I bought over 22 mint slices and took a pack to several of my neighbors. They all just loved them, of course.
I also had plates made with Kieren's picture on them, and gave those as gift for the family members.
Santa brought Kieren a playhouse for the backyard, but his most favorite present was the metal detector Santa brought, it was all he kept telling people he was getting.

I didn't give gifts to my family this year. I made some pillows for the girls friends, and that was it. Santa bough everything else

:) I gave my parents some books, gave Matt a bunch of stuff for the kitchen, DVDs, and video games, gave my youngest sister a manicure set, and made yummy sweets for my friends in town.

For my best friend and her family:
a Happy plant..she had wanted one for ages ..........just never got around to getting one and the usual calendar; inflatable seat for her husband to use in the new pool; PSP movie for the son of the house and a big rawhide bone for the dog.
For my second best friend and her family:
Fondue set for two for those intimate moments; gourmet melting chocolate for hubby re previous; No.1 son was given a Foamy hat and a book that parodies The Matrix; eldest daughter received a play tea set (the cordial she served me was er ...yum);youngest girl an early reader book and the son's girlfriend from Singapore was given a carry all of the Aussie Flag and CZ (bling) ear plugs for her Ipod and a toy boot for Shylock and a squeeky chew ball for Portia.
The people Sam and I had Xmas breakfast with were given an insulated party tub and big box of Arnotts biscuits; a "People who play Solitaire, play with themselves" T shirt for eldest son; a book on jokes for No.2 son; a bouncy ball that is hard to catch for the 6y.o ( needs gross motor help). Of course there was the biggest bone ever for their Malamout and some dried fish treats for the cat.
Ended up giving mini Plum puddings to the neighbours as I had eaten all the choccie ones....twice over.
Had bought the usual chocolate ginger for my ex In Laws for Chanuka, but they are still here, as we were not invited to the First night dinner. Shame.......will have mail them now I think.

I got my partner a discman as I broke his on our recent trip to Australia and I got my daughter a Leapfrog pack to get us through the cold winter. I managed to pick up some cute little cosmetic mirrors for my sisters for their birthday from China and they loved them so much I am now thinking of exporting them to Australia and selling them!

Gina.......my In Laws Chanuka gift was from my son..not me (still feeling miffed that I have been wiped from the family records so to speak).
Sam was disappointed that we didn't get to see them, but hey such is life.

My gosh, I gave out heaps and loved every minute of it!!:jump: Trouble is i am not sure if everyone appreciated what they got, but you get that huh? Among the gifts were potions and lotions, drill, games, cars and the list goes on. Few mixed reactions which peeved me but what can you do. Ungrateful so and so's.:jump:

Di, Walk the Line is a really good Movie. I have it on DVD and have seen it several times. It has a great love story.
Heather, it is a shame that Sam didnt get to see them, do they make any effort?

No..............because the only way he could see them is if I took him

I have told him that they still care for him.
