off to the drive inn tonight

dh and i are going to the drive inn tonight :yes: to see casino royale and a night at the museum:) has anyone been to a drive inn lately? i love it, not over excited about these movies but it is a cheap night out and something to do together as ds is still up at bribie at his nans:)

No I have never been to a drive inn, but then havn't been to a walk inn for years either, have fun, I agree the titles don't sound very exciting but who knows maybe a total surprise, any way I thought drive ins you don't actually watch the movie, well they didn't on Happy Days :hehe: hope you have a super night Sandy

dh has senn CR & DS saw the museum one today they said they were good
we took our GKIDS to the drive in last school hols they had'nt been before they loved it but i guess when i think about it it wasn't as comfy as i remembered it LOL

We have a drive-in about 5 minutes away, and have been there 3 times tops. It is not a good experience with the kids in tow, with there whinging and whining the whole time LMAO

I love the drive inn but havent been for a number of years. I hope you enjoy the movies - I saw the preview for A Night At The Museum and thought it would be an interesting one to look out for!

We dont have any drive-ins near us here.. they have all closed down.. but I used to love going to the drive in.. Night at the Museum looks like a fun movie.. the kids want to go and see it.. might do that whilst in sydney on holidays..

Back in the 50's & 60's, we went to the drive in every week end it was opened. Most are closed now. Enjoy your night.

:hehe: would you believe i fell asleep in the first movie:headh: it was a good movie,:yes: what i seen anyway:hehe: i only missed around 15 mins.just couldnt keep my eyes open:yes: next time will go on a saturday night :yes: not a good idea on a friday night when i have worked the week.:yes: but geez there was some people there:yes: it is a twin screen drive inn:yes: and i reckon there was over 300 cars there including hot rods they looked great especially the purple one:) there was one lot of people that even bought the futon lounge with them.on the 17 th march they are having a special with all old cars hotrods etc and rocknroll band all for $14 pp adult i think it was .think we will go to that:yes: love the old cars:)
