my 9 month old girl has her 2 bottom front teeth. Will the top ones come through next? :D

Hi,

Generally it's...

1) bottom front
2) top front
3) top next to first front
4) bottom next to first bottom...

My 7 month old still doesn't have teeth but I'm in no hurry as he already bites me with his gums. I'm dreading those teeth coming in. Ouch.

OMG Julia, Matthew is 7 months already? I can't believe how fast that's gone.

Hugo is 10 months old and he has had two bottom teeth for months. He's just getting his top teeth now, one of the centre ones has just cut the gum and the other centre one and the two next to the centre ones are almost there - I can actually see them bulging under the gum. Poor boy, it must be uncomfortable.

Leigh: I was chatting to a friend about teeth & I hadn't realised that not all babies get their teeth in the correct order.

Imagine getting 4 at once? Ouch.

Pam: Yes, it's gone incredibly fast. It only seems like a minute ago that I was pregnant with Matthew. Will have to get cracking on no. 3 :)

We know a little boy who didn't get any teeth until he was nearly a year old but then he got eleven through at once (over a couple of days). Ouch.

So Julia ... is No. 3 a definite now??? or are you still considering/negotiating?

DO yous have any tips on teething i have run out of ideas my fourth is cross cutting she has been teething since she was 5 weeks old now nearly 5 months and still cutting the same teeth they are all four of her first molers,

I have tried bi carb soda, frozen banana, frozen apple, teething rusks, four brands of teething gel, eight different teething rings and toys, ice, frozen washers, panadol, dymadon pain relief, teething relief herbal, and finally the new teething dummies.

My three boys were not this bad she can scream up to 6 hours straight in pain had her to the doctors, and hospital and they are saying they may cut her gums to help them through but i am not keen on that idea.

HELP for a tried bitchy mum. my others kids lives depend on it.

Yeah, this is what I'd always thought. Hugo just got his 5th tooth (has two bottom and two top central teeth). I knew it was coming, his teething signs are always the same so I've been sticking my finger in his mouth all week. I realised last night he already has the tooth, but it's down the bottom and it never occurred to me to even look down the bottom, lol. Glad it's come through, he's been a cranky manky for days.

I found frozen bread very good, especially if they weren't eating.

Nat got his first 8 teeth in 8 weeks, many came through 2 at a time :(
