I bought myself and Italian calendar for Christmas. Everyday has a new phrase or fact about Italy to learn. It looks like a giant post it pad.
For 1-1-07, the phrase was Tante cose (All the best) (lit. Many things)
pronounced tahn tay koh zee
for 1-2-07 the phrase is Tante grazie (Thanks so much)
I bought my mom a left handed calender so she can lean facts about left handed people.
I do have a beautiful Australian calendar that I use the most, and put all my appt. in.
Thank you Alexa!

kat, there arent any pics, which is a shame it is a square calendar that sits on my desk with 365 papers attatched to it.
Just thought I needed to brush up on my Italian, I would like to fully learn a language for 2007. Not just pic up bits and pieces.

That sounds like a pretty cool idea Gina. I have had a course that teaches Japanese sitting in my cupboard for years. Maybe time to dust it off and try it out. Only thing is it is on tape and am unsure if i have a tape deck that worksLMAO

I am terrible at learning languages - I just think I don't have the patience anymore. I only know a few words in chinese but I guess that is because whenever anyone wants to speak to us they just speak in english anyway (if they can)!

Wednesday/ Mercoledi
You're Welcome/ Di niente! (pronunciation--dee nyehn- teh)
Lit. Of nothing.
My neighbor is Italian, so I am thinking I should spend more time with her and have her only speak to me in Italian.

not as sofisicated(sorry can't spell this arvo) as your italian one, but keziah gave me a Zelda Wisdom desk calender for xmas. It is this adorable English Bulldog, with phrases every day. and dressed up picturs of Zelda on it. Very amusing. Jan 1 said 'Yo ho ho and a bottle of asprin' lol
Is just beautiful
