We all know how important breakfast is, but who has a good breakfast to start the day? Is it healthy? What about the kids - do they have breaky? When my kids were school age, I never had trouble getting them to eat breakfast ..they were always starving lol

I eat a late breakfast, anytime between 8.30 - 10, because I have a full milk coffee first thing and that fills me up too much to eat. I wouldn't say I have a well balanced nutritional breakfast tho lol. My breakfast can be anything from a bowl of noodles or left overs to toast or a tub of yogurt. I rarely have juice. Gra & I have been saying for a week now ..lets enjoy bacon & eggs together for breaky, but somehow the morning slips by and we still haven't had it. Gra doesn't eat breakfast at home, but the food truck calls into our car yard at 9.30 so he usually gets something then.

What's your breakfast menu like?

I eat when I get up. I usually have cereal (weetbix or porridge or something similar) and/or toast (whole grain), with a cup of tea or coffee. Sometimes juice. Not the best balanced breakfast but not the worst.

Hugo has a good breakfast. He has a breastfeed when he first wakes up, then he has Heinz baby cereal with fruit on it and shares my wholegrain toast.

I do find it a lot easier to have breakfast now that I am at home. When I was working it would just be easier to sleep in then get some toast or something with my morning coffee at the cafe downstairs.

Ooh, my breakfast menu is very ghastly :( something I am planning to change tomorrow (which never comes...) My breakfast menu usually consists of:

1. A Large McDonald drivethrough latte or cappucino
2. A bit of museli and soy if work mate manages to force it down my throat
3. Another large mug of coffee in the office

;( Very naughty I know... Next week its all going to change, so I hope. I just cannot seem to have enough time to eat a proper breakfast, though I would love to. Its hard having to get a baby off and out off the house by 6.30am for childcare and a 9 year old off and to school before heading off to work.... BTW they do have their bellyfull before leaving the house lol

Colleagues and I have made an agreement we would alternate between ourselves, and bring in healthy lunches or breakfast in every day to try and make it a healthier office. We are hoping that with the team support we can all gain from it :D

Now, reckon this will work?

I very rarely eat breakfast- just a cup of tea. And bacon and eggs on Sunday if we're at home. The kids all have either sultana bran or weat bix ( maybe I should follow their lead lol)

I usually have 1.5 weetbix with fruitsalad. It's on my eating plan ;)

The boys usually have toast, cereal, and/or fruitsalad - it varies daily.

I eat the best thing possible (according to the GI diet).

It's whole oats (not those 1 minute oat things) porridge with skim milk.

I also have a glass of juice.

That's a typical breakfast for me and I eat it when I get up.

What is breakfast? Sometimes I dont eat anything at all until lunch time. Its not that I am too busy or anything, its just that I am not hungry!! Bad, I know, but that is the way it is with me. I have done it ever since I was in high school, so I think that I am used to it.

The kids have Weet Bix and there is no stopping them. Amy has fruit loops (yes, and only fruit loops and green poos, too, but thats too much info, sorry). Lil Pete has farex/rice cereal and a little fruit to go with it.

I do sit down on a Sunday morning and have brekky with Pete, though. But only because he forces me to. He cooks some nice stuff!! It always makes me feel a little ill afterwards, tho.
