THE wife of Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin has been handed the footage of his death, after Queensland authorities broke with protocol to ensure it did not pass into the wrong hands.

i am so relieved Terri has the video. I would have been really pissed if it ended up on the net.

My BIL said he had wanted to see it and and I just cursed him out. I told my husband I wanted him to leave for saying that. This was a while back. I actully called it, I knew he would say that. He is sick like that.

It's still a bit of a worry what if it gets stolen from their house these things happen. I think it should be destroyed so that is no chance of falling into the wrong hands.

I'm glad that the authorities have handled the existence of the tape with great sensitivity.....and then followed proceedure and forwarded it directly to the family.

I agree. This is the best place for such a video, but how weird would it be to actually have the tape of the death of a loved one. I think I would have just asked for it to be destroyed, rathter than keeping it myself.

i am so happy about that:D i dont think i could ever watch it though if that was my dh:yes: it is sad enough watching videos/dvds with passed loved ones in them without anything like that:headh:

I must admit I wouldnt want to see how my husband/partner had died. But good that it is in safe hands.
