Oh LAdies...you just wouldn't believe what a day and night I've had.
Not only did I sleep in to past 10 this morning, I was given coffee and shortbread biscuits for breakfast.
Nice lazy day..........except for "mum, don't look but where will I find.......",
or "Mum, I'll do it, but how.......".
Well I knew something was up............pretty obvious.
The movie was really good, as was the wine and later sticky date pudding and coffee.........the seats...oh wow (it will be hard to go back to cattle class
next time).
When we got home....fully expecting a little party for Sam and I of all his favourites.............you know crisps, popcorn etc........I was suprised by 10 of my friends with Champers, flowers, birthday cake (mud of course), chocolates and DVD's.
Sam had arranged it just that morning while I was sleeping.
I farewelled the last guest just after 2 this morning, and boy am I tired.
I can't believe how lucky I am..........wishes and presents from you wonderful Ladies, a Surprise Party (my first ever) with some pretty remarkable friends and my Sam..........my Teenage Trial.......who has certainly earned a whole packet of Brownie points.
This has to have been the best Birthday since my 18th........34 years ago.
Have you enough fingers and toes Di to work out the math?.

Last thing on my 25TH Birthday...........opened the mail today and there was a card from my xIL with a lovely pair of pearl studs. Absolutely flabbergasted, especially as up to this point, the TT and I were virtually wiped from the family records, so to speak.
Maybe it was because we still phoned with Happy Channuka as well as FIL Birthday wishes.
I just knew my birthday was going to be special.
