What bands/groups have you liked over the years.
When I was in primary school I liked Kiss and then Adam Ant.
High school I liked Duran Duran and then Inxs.
After school it was Guns n Roses.
And now I like Matchbox Twenty/Rob Thomas, Powderfinger/Bernard Fanning, Pete Murray, Jack Johnson.
Yes I know, what a strange mix of music.
Anyway how about you, who have you listened to over the years?
Mind you I forgot to mention I grew up listening to Rock n Roll, Elvis, Buddy Holly, etc because my parents liked it.

Growing up in the seventies I loved Sherbert, and had a huge poster of Daryl Braithwaite on my bedroom wall.
Since then I have had varied musical tastes from pop to classical.
Some of the songs on my ipod now are from Robbie Williams, Jamiroquai, Frank Sinatra, The Whitlams, Sandy Thom and Missy Higgins.

Cliff Richard
early David Bowie
John Farnham
Meat Loaf
Neil Diamond
Barbra Striesand
Chris Isaak
Queen
The Police
Sting
Uncanny X-Men
would be the consistent ones for my collection

I don't really think that I have ever had one particular band/singer at any one time.
I tend to like just one or two songs and not the rest.............so most of my CD and tapes (yes, I bought a car that had a tape deck as well as a CD player) are "The best of........" or "Favoutite........." compilations.
Tinks...........have I died and you are my reincarnation?
We have so much in common (look back at some similar posts) and I too am, unusually, really into Jack Johnson and Bernard Fanning at the moment.
