The Amazing Apple Slinky Machine

We have a new toy!! It's an Apple Slinky Machine from www.liveitup.net.au - it's brilliant :D

It peels, cores and slices the apple to a slinky. It's a lot faster than cutting it yourself, and the kids love it. Nat especially loves to wind the handle :)

You can also cut pears and potatoes with it.

It's cuts apples the perfect size for dehydrating (our other new toy!)

Those slinky machines are really popular in schools now. We want to get one for work, I'm a child care worker. The schools have to have healthy food served in their canteens now. Apparently schools are selling lots more apples now and children are bringing their own apples in from home also, so they can get to use the apple slinky! It is a great way for kids to eat some fruit, eh? From Contiki.
