Guess who I met last night

Chris Murphy from Australian Idol:D

He played in a celeb game against Nerds FC (an SBS tv show) before the Mariners game last night, and he was standing all by himself out the back of the stadium, so I couldn't resist going over and saying Hi:hehe:

I only spoke a few words to him, he was very friendly actually, I only said hi to him so I could come in here and bragLMAO Oh and tease my teenage daughter who wasn't with us last night:hehe: Just said hi and asked him if he enjoyed the game, he was really polite and softly spoken, he was about to be interviewed so I didn't hang around, spewing I didn't have my phone with me to take a pic lol

There were others there as well Anthony Field, Ryan Girdler, John Paul Young (I never realised he was so vertically challenged:D ) the Matildas captain, think her name was Kate but not sure, some sports commentator and others I have NFI who they were, but will probably read about it in the paper.

My family and I were also forced to catch the lift in the carpark with Andre, who is my fave Mariners player.

All that almost makes up for our draw last night which has ended any hope of us making the semis;( ;( ;( ;( ;(
All in all it was a massive night of highs and lows:hehe: and 1 I won't forget in a hurry:D

I was a little tongue tied ( sort of felt like I just blurted it all out lol) I couldn't wait to run away:hehe: , then I texted my daughter and my hand was a bit shaky, I had to laugh at that:hehe: . But after all he's just a person like us:)

hehe funny how most people who meet JPY say exactly that. Its cos you always saw him next to Molly and Daryl on Countdown and they all looked normal height - until you meet them and realise they give Tom Cruise a run for his money.

Was Chris as cute as he was on the telly ? I met his brother Courtney and he was so lovely.
