CANCER patients and survivors are being warned to avoid foods rich in soy because they can accelerate the growth of tumours and limit the effectiveness of medicines.

Well what they are saying seems to make sense but it must be so confusing for those who want/need to change their diet etc.

That was confusing.
So if you have not had cancer you can have as much soy products as you like?

That is strange.. It is ok to eat if you havent had cancer, but not to if you had?
I eat lots of soy and I know it is very good for us, less soduim than eggs and so cholestoral..
And it is eaten in Asian cultures and they are very healthy.
I guess we will contiue to eat it for now.

I just feel like one second they are saying to eat something and then the next it is bad for you...I can't keep up!

Yes it really does depend on which book you read doesnt it!
