Father's Day

Did everyone have a good day yesterday? Did you do anything special?

We didn't, just had a quiet day at home, Erin & Gav went dirt bike riding up whoop whoop and camped for the weekend, Lee & Jayde were on the Sunshine Coast for the weekend. Gra got his pressies early so he didn't really miss out :)

We went shopping in the morning, to come home and find someone had opened our side gate and let the dogs out! Our neighbours were also out and came home just before us to find someone had stolen a pushbike from down the side of their house. Too much of a coincidence we think someone was going to see what they could steal at our place, until the dogs appeared on the scene. Our neighbors saw Potter sitting at our front door and put him back for us, but no sign of Harry. After driving around our suburb for an hour in desperate hope of finding Harry, we gave up and waited at home, ringing AWL etc. Great News, another neighbour several houses down recognised Harry playing with a black & white dog in the street, so they grabbed Harry for us and put him in their yard for us. They now know Potter is ours too LOL! So a happy ending. Great to have good neighbours :) Be so glad when the front security fence is finished!

We had a very quite day just pottering around the house, but last night we had a Father's Day bonfire...it was really lovely sitting outside under the stars. We cooked some potatoes and some sweet potatoes in the coals and had that for dinner. It was a really lovely way to end the day. I think we might start that as our Father's Day ritual now. :)

My son spent the day with his dad it was good, and i rang my mum and wished her a happy fathers day. Its a joke my mum has been my mum and dad since my day took off, And i also wish my big brother happy fathers day as well ha ha. I'm glad you got your dogs back and it all worked out ok. :D
