I am so sick of commercial TV stations.

Here in the country, we have WIN, GWN and ABC. WIN is a combination of 9 and 10, and GWN is like channel 7.

We have a huge choice at the moment NOT! On GWN we have tennis all night!

Now, I don't mind the tennis, but not all night! And, if we switch over to WIN, it's full of crappy shows.

So, what's the next best thing?

Foxtel, but I don't want to get it yet as we may be moving soon.

So, AFW here I am! LMAO

Man, I feel like my butt is glued to this seat and I will probably end up with RSI of the wrist from all this typing! LMAO

I think my DH feels like a grass widow lately! :hehe:

A couple of weeks ago I rang up Optus about their pay tv and I was so shocked with the prices. To get the normal package (Cartoon channels, news, documentary etc...) it wasn't that expensive, but to add some movies and sports channels (which are the only ones i want anyway) it was going to cost me around $100/month!! I thought stuff that! I don't even spend that much a month at the dvd store!

Now, you are not talking about Moi?

I told them to stop, but they wouldn't listen! Really! :hehe:

Jenni, like Di said who has time for TV? I certainly don't and we would rather you be on here than watching TV so I don't think you need to get Foxtel.

the good old days of twotv stations, I remember them!

I loved it when we first moved closer to the city, having grown up with the ABC and GWN (and whatever it was before that) DH says to me all the time about all the shows he used to watch, and I was like... um... never heard of it, they only got the third not long after we moved.

Foxtel... ahhh, sick of the repeats yes! when our contract is up I dont think we will be renewing it at all, there just more channels of C*** to flick through, there are days when theres nothing to watch on Foxtel too!

we pay just under $60 a month, no sport!!! yay! and we have the cartoon channels, the discovery ones, and the movies but still like I said, some days theres still nothing to watch.
