How do you successfully grow from seed

I've got some catmint and cat grass seeds and needs some tips on growing them I'm a hopeless gardener so any hints welcome.

Hi Floria,

Get some seed raising mix, fill a smallish pot neally to the top. Pop the seeds in and lightly cover with more seed raising mix and wella! I have found it better to start them in a small pot and as the grass grows then re pot into a larger pot. Goodluck!

I'm going to try growing some cottage flowers by seed - so thanks for the tips Chezz! Will let you know how it goes.

Cut off the bottom of a clear soft drink bottle and place over the pot this will create a mini greenhouse, make sure you give them plenty of water
