We were in Hurstville yesterday and I saw a poster advertising Carols in the Park. For this year. It's only (just) September. Next thing you know, the malls will be playing carols, the department stores will be selling Christmas trees and fairy lights, and the supermarkets will be stocking fruit mince pies.

Too scary to try and think about Christmas already.

It is a joke and it does seem to get earlier each year- everyone competing for your dollars.

I also remember seeing Easter Eggs in the shops at the start of January this year too.

On a completely different note, Naomi I used to live in Hurstville! Zoe was born at Kogarah Hospital. I don't miss the place let me tell you!

Kelly, we used to live there too - now we live about 10 minutes away but it's still our closest 'big' shopping centre so I go there sometimes even though I hate it. No, we don't miss it at all either.
