Who loves Survivor as much as I do? Survivor 11 is coming on this week and my eyes will be glued to the screen! I have watched all seasons of the show (except Marcesas? not sure if that even aired in Australia as I didn't see it and can't remember it being on tv.)
My favourite series was Survivor Australia and Survivor Borneo with Richard Hash and also the All Stars! From Contiki. :D

OMG..is it up to 11 already, god didn't realise they had done that many? As with most of these other shows, I watch the first with great excitement, and then get bored with subsequent series.

I loved the Australian season and the one with Rupert...I forget which season that was in, but he was awesome.

I am addicted to Survivor too and even my two boys Master 4 and Master 5 love it! I wish I could be a competitor but Aussies can't apply. I think we missed seeing the Marquesa series as we tried to stage our own Australian style Survivor. Did anyone see it? It was a real flop.... nowhere near as good as the American one - no doubt it didn't have the same financial backing!

I remember watching our version. And the prize wasn't a million dollars but a quarter I think.

I now have picked someone but it will probably change! It all depends whether she gets kicked off. Her name is Margaret, the nurse. I think she's pretty cool. I wouldn't mind a nurse on my team!

Oh Contiki, I was only able to watch bits of the first show and I completely forgot about it last friday ;( . I almost forgot about the first show as we were not home when it was on. Luckily where I was, they had it on (and we were able sneakily watch bits of it). I have got a reservation for my couch this friday and I'm not moving for anyone!. x(

Contiki, I too love Survivor, it is on tonight as the cricket was on last night, you can go on the Net and find out through CBS who is voted off tonight if you want to know but I won't spoil it for you....why don't you like the cricket, there are some hot bods there, though I have no idea why when they get a wicket they pat each other on the arse for, weird behaviour for straight men????? :dk:

The Australian one was no-where near as good as the American version, though I didn't mind looking at Colby's body...yum.

Hated the All Stars with Amber and Rob (also hated them in the Amazing Race) so glad they lost....

I too have watched every single episode, never missed one, and yes there are repeats on Sunday around 1pm, at the moment, why I do this I have no idea, same with repeats of The Alice on Sat afternoons...

Also glad that Tom the firefighter won the last one, did you know that his daughter is deaf and now he can afford for her to have an operation to see if they can do something about her deafness...he was nice for an old-guy.

Hi Alexa73, good to hear from another Survivor fan! Yep, been looking on CBS.com. I was tempted to look on Friday night to see who got voted off, but I resisted so it would be a surprise!
Have you looked at survivorfever.com? I think that's the name of the site, it reviews all of the 11 Survivor shows. Just looked up Palau, and seen that your Tom cameod in an episode of The Bold and the Beautiful and played himself! Tom and Colby are pretty nice looking, but I like Bobby John in this episode.
I like the All Stars, it was fun watching all the old favourites competiting together.
Cricket, ew! Well, cricket is not as bad as football. Cricket is boring and football, just a bunch of blokes punching and bashing into each other! Sorry sporty fans! On occasion it is ok. I prefer to watch Olympic Sports like swimming, and the car racing today was pretty good.
Back to Survivor, I think the contestants will catch that ex-footballer out eventually, I mean, I don't think he'll be able to keep up the fib for long. They already suspect him.
Yeah, I didn't think it was fair that Rob and Amber got another chance at winning a million dollars on The Amazing Race. Still watched it though as it's another favourite show. From Contiki. :D

OMG I thought that I was the only Survivor fan left in australia. I love the show and even look up on the internet what's going on before I actually watch the show (man, I think I better get a life hey). I can't remember ever missing an episode of any of the series and have even brought the computer game that has all the character from the first 3 series in it (It is such a cool game based entirely on the show).:blush:

Don't Survivor people look so different once they've been voted off and gotten cleaned up and put some weight back on? The biggest difference I noticed was in Survivor Outback where all the poor people were so skinny and weather beaten looking, and when it came to the final show where Tina won, gee, what a difference she and Colby looked. Also in Borneo, what about Richard Hash with how much weight he lost on the show. Oh, and don't you wish he would stop all that walking around in the nuddy? Well Brian and Margaret both got voted out due to the two tribal councils. I rather liked Maragret, I think Judd is the problem. He has such a big mouth. I wanted to punch him when I saw the smug look on his face when the nurse got voted out. It should have been him.

Yep, I watch "The Amazing Race" aswell, it is a great show too, isn't it?!
Bit strange how they put Rob and Amber on the show as they'd already had 2 chances at a million (on their first Survivor series and then on Survivor All Stars). They were probably spewing that they got as close as 2nd on the last season of The Amazing Race and then didn't win! I'm glad that the other people won instead. I like Robs Boston accent, and Amber was good in Outback Survivor, but in The Amazing Race, they just gloated too much at how good they were and they were a bit sneaky at it too, don't you think?
I wonder will they ever make a Survivor in a cold area, like some snowy place, or I thought it would be good if they set it in the Rocky Mountains in America. You know, they'd have to hunt for food, catch fish, it could be snowy there, they'd have to watch out for bears, and their tribal influence could be the American Indians. What do you think? :Hehe:

I agree with you Alexa and I knew Gary found the idol because when he came back to camp after looking for it, he was holding his hand behind his back. Gary's gotten so thin...he needed that feast Judd was eating.

What is everyones favourite challenges that the Survivor's have to do? Balancing for hours on end, puzzles, obstacle courses? I like the Balancing ones, and the ones where they have to eat digusting things like maggots and tarantulas, and stuff like that! Gross! :eww: From Contiki.

Yes, I hope they get a bug-eating challenge too! It's gross but great to watch at the same time!
I can't remember which Survivor it was but on one of them, the Survivors had to have their hands tied behind their backs whilst biting off huge chunks of meat off of a carcas of meat. Then they had to put the meat onto scales and weigh it to see which team could chew off the most meat. Some of the meat looked raw in the centre. Ew, it was the most digusting site I've ever seen, I almost vomitted watching it! :eww:

Wow, what an episode of Survivor! Now tell me, what don't you like about Jamie? Just wandering as I've missed a couple of episodes and haven't watched them yet. Jamie was paranoid about getting voted off like the other Survivors kept saying, though, I thought it was crook how Rafe just turned on Jamie just because Jamie asked him too many times if he was safe from getting voted off. Also thought it was crook how Lydia and Stephanie just went along with Rafe with voting Jamie off, even though they had their mind made up to vote Gary off.

I recorded the episode that Jaime got booted off and the tape cut out in the last 5 mins, x( so I nearly had a heart-attack, had to go on the net and find out...very happy...

So we have Gary (who I hope wins) Stephenie, whom thinks she is just a bit too good for everyone else...Lydia, I have no idea what she is doing there.
Danni, way too skinny and way too happy...might win. Rafe, who has won 3 challenges so I think he should be careful and Judd the Dudd, biggest loser on the planet...and Cindy, bit under the radar so who knows what is going to happen...at least it is something to watch next week, as the non-ratings season starts on Sunday...going to be a long summer.

I loved the Apprentice last week, loved how the Don got rid of 4 in a row, lined them up like ducks and shot them down...long ride to the airport.

I'm happy that Dani won. I thought it was a good idea for Dani to take Steph because Steph has upset a few people on the jury while Rafe is a well-liked guy. If it had been Dani and Rafe, Rafe would have won. Steph only got one vote to Dani's four. If Steph had won, I would have thrown my remote at the tv.

Judd's questions to them was very entertaining...he is such a sore loser. So glad he was voted out.

Can't wait for the next season. If Ch 9 will be airing it around the same time as the US again, we'd be getting in Feb too. Not too long to wait. Let's hope Jeff will still be host!

Jeff has signed for a muti million dollar contract to host the next two survivours...so that is good news...

I don't think Channel 9 will show it in Feb, as that is there prime time, beginning of ratings season...so I think they will be focus, on shows they know do well, like CSI, McLeods, also ER, cause I imagine that 7 will start Desperate Housewives and Lost...and Survivour I don't thinks rate on this scale. But you never know in the big smoke...

I've been a bit slow with replying about Survivor but been busy with Xmas shopping and all that.
Wow, Dani the Sole Survivor eh? She was a good winner! Didn't they look all spruced up on the final/reunion show?
Anyway, I can't wait till the next Survivor comes on too! From Contiki.
