Anyone out there into cycling? I'm addicted. I don't do insane distances or even ride very often, but I just love getting out, feeling my body working away and checking out the scenery.
Am organising a weekend in Wangaratta soon. There's a great day ride - a 50km loop that goes to the Milawa cheese factory and Brown Bros winery. Yum.....

My hubby is a keen cyclist. In fact keen on anything on two wheels. He has three motorbikes and two bicycles.
He has a mountain bike for downhill stuff and also a road bike. He went for a ride yesterday only to get halfway up the hill to blow a tube. So he had to walk home but all is good now as he got a new tube today.

Bummer about the tube. I have a road bike and a mountain bike as well. It sounds greedy but they're both fun for different purposes.

Not sure about cycling but we do go bike riding with the boys. We usually ride up to the local park, let them have a play (while we rest :Hehe: ) & then ride home again.
Hi Mindy,
I'm not not cycling, my brother is tho, and has cycled around Australia twice now! I'd be too scared of being hit by a car!

Wow Pam, your brother riding around Aust is very impressive. Yeah, I worry about cars but I'm very aware of what they're doing and I allow for their mistakes. I get abused, even when I'm doing the right thing. I try to stay off the roads especially during peak hour.

I used to do alot of cycling. I would ride every day to Uni but since I have moved house, I haven't yet written my bike over to my new place so it's still at the family home (and that was 8 months ago!).
I really enjoy it though.

The only cycling I do is at the Gym, does that count LOL
I have been nagging him to buy me a real one for years. Don't think I would bother riding one now, I can ride much further at the gym that "for real" I'd get 10km and ring him to come get me :Hehe:
