Cheap flights

Jetstar are having a sale at the moment. I just booked return tickets for my partner and I from Melbourne to Hobart and it cost me a grand total of $96 for the both of us.

We're only going for one night as a bit of a relaxing weekend away.

I was stoked at the price :D

The booking page is *really* struggling to cope with the load atm though, so it will probably take a while to book ...

I tried to have a looky when I got the email this afternoon and the server was having a tanty with the load. Nothing much good from Sydney anyway :(

Yeah I would have chosen Sydney but I've just come back from there, plus my partner hasn't been to Hobart before so I thought I'd take him. I'm actually getting excited about going.

That's an awesome price. It's cheap as chips to get the ferry to Tassie too, you can take your car from Melb to Tassie on the Ferry for $68! Unreal.

It's well worth taking the ferry and your own car. Especially if you're spending a few days there. Works out a lot cheaper than car rental. There are some months where you can take your car for nothing! At least, that was the case in 2004 when I was looking at it. Don't know about now though.
