How was your weekend?

We had a really quiet, relaxing weeked. We watched the AFL grand final - great game btw and on Sunday took the dogs for a walk, and finished off the weekend being couch potatoes LOL

It was pretty good. Took the boys to my parents to watch the Grand Final & went shopping with my mum & sister :)

Yesterday we just hung out & then went shoe shopping as my shoes have fallen apart :(

We did our usual farmers market shopping on saturday followed by the grand final and went out to dinner that night. Sunday we had to be up on time as we were going to Nth Burleigh surf club for a 50th breakfast at 9am so as you can guess yesterday afternoon after we took the dog for a walk we became couch potatoes. :)

My eldest stayed at his grandparents (my in-laws) on Friday & we went there on Saturday to watch the gf. My youngest then stayed over on Saturday night. Yesterday we got up early and started painting the new fence in the back yard. We then went to my sisters for lunch and I then went to a jewellery party at my girlfriends at 3pm. Bought a beautiful ring. Then last night, I started to make up the prize packs for a festival that we have booked a stall for which is in town in November. This is one of the prizes...

Pretty good, although DH is sick so we did a lot of sleeping in/relaxing. I went to the movies (yay!), we went shopping yesterday and bought Hugo some summer clothes in the next size up (although they seem to swim on him. 00 is not long enough and 0 is too big, lol).

Not so good was hearing my grandmother is really sick again :(

Morning Ladies!!

My weekend was wonderful! Taking things easy easy and easy.

Got the 'Nesting' bug again on the weekend. Hubby did the yard while I did the house. Would have loved to clean the windows but I think I would do one and stop.

Saturday night we went to a BBQ with some friends that we hadn't seen in ages ... even though I didn't really want to go. I ended up having a great evening ... DS made himself a new girlfriend and I didn't see him for most of the night which was great!!

Yesterday was good also ... mum came to visit and play with DS. Just to give me a rest for a few hours!!

And then DH cooked a roast chicken and vegies for dinner ... one of my favourites!!

We had a great weekend- our first one off for months. Saturday morning we did a bit of spring cleaning, in the afternoon we went and watched my friends son win his soccer grand final- an exciting game that went to penalty shootouts, with updates during the match of the AFL GF, YAY The Swannies :tree: . We then watched the Tigers beat hubby's beloved Dragons ( poor hubby lol :D )

Sunday lazed in bed with my cuppa reading the papers until about 9-30 :Hehe: , then did some washing and more housework. In the afternoon hubby and I went and checked out some new cars ( to replace our "stupid Mitsubishi").

had a typical weekend with lots of gossip and fun with the girls...
had a presentation due this monday so couldnt think much of anythin else...teeehehe
