At last!

~Hooray~ at long last they have finally started building our house! It seemed to take forever and ever in council...now at long last they are preparing to pour the concrete slab in readiness for the steel frame.

Apparently after the slab is laid the frame goes up quite quickly which is good as the builder is still saying that we will be in our new house for Christmas..which will be absolutely lovely as far as I am concerned! :):)

Things ae moving along nicely...we have had our slab laid and the frame will go up within the next week or 10 days...things will move very quickly from there....so our Xmas move in date is still looking a possibility so far. :) :tree: :tree: :tree:

Oh sorry Patricia I missed your post! Whoo hoo! How exciting. Don't forget to take lots of progress photos too :) I hope everything moves along to schedule and you have no unforeseen holdups etc, which often seems to happen when building. Looks like you are in for a Merry Xmas!

We now have the frame up....with a roof. Front and back door too so things are moving along nicely. Hopefully bricks will be on this week coming :)
