I love it when the cats are stalking a bug (usually a cockroach) and when it disappears, they will stay there staring at the spot where it disappeared like it might magically come back again.

Nik and Barney have been obsessing over one of the stereo speakers ALL DAY because a cockroach ran in there last night. I had to clip Barney's claws because he kept getting them stuck in the grill-thing (and the cry of a stuck burmese is a desolate sound indeed). Nik is a clever cat and his modus operandi is to sit back and let Barney do all the hard work poking and prodding and getting stuck, and when the cockroach reappears Nik will be there in a flash and take over. It must get frustrating for poor Barney, but he never learns.

And when they do manage to catch it, they'll just worry it to death. They never actually eat them. Just leave the carcass for me to find (and clean up) the next day. Nice.

Heheh Nik seems to have the right idea, but you are right, poor Barney, will he ever learn of Nik's scheme any time soon? LOL.

I love watching Ash catch flies, it looks like he is having a fit in mid air (as you can't see the fly from a distance). Anyone not knowing what he was doing might be worried... LOL.

Cats, got to love em. :Hehe:

Hi Naomi,

Yes, mine will do the same :Hehe:

I hate it when all of a sudden their eyes go huge and they are fixed on something I can't see ..I always fear it's a big spider! I'm sure they do it on purpose just to see me squirm LOL

At our house it's geekos. My three will stare and stare at the last place the geeko was seen and not move for ages.

floria, every night since we have moved to this house the geckos like playing tricks on Ash, he falls for it every time. They are on the other side of the frosted glass and they run across it pretending that 'oh no you have caught me'! Ash thinks he gets them everytime, then can't understand where they go, and how they got away... LOL..

They are so funny with bugs. We have been getting a few of those big crunchy cockroaches inside of late ewwww!

They all join in to help, Stasia will usually be the one that goes out of her way to catch it. Climbing curtains etc. Jake also has a thing for helping her, will lift her up, or move every movable piece of furniture so she can catch it

Then they all sit in a circle taking turns to play with it. They'll have a few goes, then she gets annoyed with that idea, takes it away and eats it :eww: Then the other 3 are left sitting there thinking what the? LOL

I just took this photo of the Burms with an unfortunate grasshopper that accidently hopped inside. He has a leg missing :(

My lot also have a thing about the little Barbies you get from Macdonalds. The girls have a few. I actually went looking for this picture last night. I had a dream that these little Barbie's came to life and were trying to kill me  . I'm sick, thats my excuse, I'm not going mad, honest LOL
