View Full Version : Photo Shop, Paint Shop..
Does anyone know how to use these programs? I am only just starting to learn now, they seem so complicated!
I love the signatures that people can make on different forums, but am totally ignorant on how to create those sorts of things. :(
Are you creative with these sort of programs?
I would LOVE to learn more, so if anyone has any tips or pointers, would Love to hear them!

I have used lots of different programmes over the years. I only use Photoshop CS2 now.
The best way to learn is playing around to find out what does which, and how it all works. Also tutorials are a great way when your starting out.
Do you use both of them? I'd say Paint Shop Pro would probably the best to use. It's a little more user friendly, and will do pretty much everything you will need it to. It's also much cheaper.
Goggle is a good place to start for tutorials. Also the softwares website, Adobe has lots of resources on theirs.
Good luck Anne, you will have to show us what you come up with :)
Hi Leigh, Yes, I have both. Until recently I only had Paintshop Pro but recently got Photo shop. I've been taking "tutorials" from people I know on another forum, and finding them fascinating. One teaches Paintshop, the other teaches Photo shop, so its a bit confusing. lol

I use Fireworks for any graphics I need to do - and I only do basic resizing of images - I leave the graphics up to the professionals.
