My Sister's Wedding

Yay!!! I got an invitation - I'm so excited, my sister is finally getting married (yay for someone in the family to finally do it ;) ). Just really excited right now. I'm not a bridesmaide (she isn't having a bridal party just a matron or maid of honour - her best friend) but I get to do a 'reading' about marriage... Rather nervous about that, not sure what I"m in for. OH has been asked to record the ceremony. I also have to pick up our Nana (she was our 'mum' to both my sisters and I) and look after her during the ceremony (her memory is rather bad, not quite alzheimers but getting there, and I don't know what to expect as I have not seen her in a year) and I get to see my other sister, Anita, who I haven't seen since I was about 9 years old (as well as her son and her new boyfriend).... Now I think about it I'm going to be EXTRA nervous!!

I enjoyed my sister's wedding more than my own (there was nothing wrong with mine, I just enjoyed hers more because there was less stress on me :) )

Hi all

It is set for the 4th of June so its winter time!! I don't know what sort of dress to buy LOL. Its going to be held a couple hours north of Brisbane and it gets rather cold up there in the afternoons/nights. May have to get a shawl or something :dk:

Naomi - Stress sucks! I think my sister is going to be mega stressed (we are all mega stress heads in our family) but I hope she still enjoys the day.

Alex - And I can't wear blue (that's the colour of Donna's wedding dress) and its my fave colour!! Oh well, gotta hit the shops hehe :Hehe:

It's so exciting when it's a family wedding isn't it??*L*I mean,going to a friends wedding is just as exciting,but at least when it's family,you feel like you belong there!*L*(if that makes sense?)

Chris(hubby)and I are going to my cousin Roberts wedding next Saturday down in Wollongong,so i'm really excited also!
It's the first wedding in the family since my wedding 5 years ago!
So.YAY,i feel and understand your happiness!
