Misty has a magic spot, just around her flank, that when scratched, sends her all googey, and she starts to lick you. The meezer's don't do anything LOL
Jake has tried this experiment on Mum's Burmese, and a friends, and it seems they also have this magic spot.

So does anyone else Burm's have the magic spot.

YES!! LMAO Bizkit does the exact same thing! He licks like crazy even in mid air. Scarlett and Sao don't do it tho?

Wow! Barney has always done this - he will lick mid air, too Scarlett - we thought it was just a Barney 'quirk'. I can't believe other burmeys do it too, lol.

Actually a lot of other cats do this as well so I don't think it just a Burm thing!!

Heh, I've been trying this on Nik to see if he'll do it too. He enjoys the scratching (does that elevator-butt thing) but doesn't lick.

How funny :Hehe: I have a Burmese, and 2 moggies. And Yup,I tried it out on her and she has "the magic spot". The others did noting, one actually bit me :Hehe:
I'm sure lots of other cats do it, but how strange all our Burmese do it, and our other cats do not :)

How funny, YES Leo does the same thing !!! Actually he has lots of "magic spots", starts licking like crazy. He'll lick me, himself, his bed, or whatever is the closest thing to his mouth at the time LMAO And when you stop patting/scratching he stops licking, you start again and he starts licking again, it's so funny!!
