With all the sad animal cruelty stories circulating the media of late, I thought it would be nice to relate a happy story about a feline who (not meaning to be catty" ) could have done with several visits to Gloria Marshall's figure control salon!! :P

I went into my local produce store the other day to buy some Breeders Choice kitty litter and Dootie the feline was not in her usual place which is on the counter sprawled out in an "exhausted heap". I was hesitant in asking after her as last visit the owners were concerned with her health as she is 13 years old and with her excess weight , was not coping well with the heat. . However, curiosity got the better of me, so I cautiously asked after her. I was delighted to hear that Dootie had been placed on a vet managed diet and had lost 2 kilos and was now a different "purrrson". She now has no time to sit on the counter greeting customers, she is too busy chasing lizards and "policing" rodent control in the warehouse.

There is a message here for any of us wishing to lose a couple of kilos weight.... Please Wilma not you though, you would "disappear" if you lost 2 kilos!!!!

Ha, ha Ptolly Tots - I agree that food is wasted on Wilma. Well I have finally decided to do something about my weight and I joined Weight Watchers last week. I go for my first weigh in this evening - wish me luck.

What a lovely story.

Poor Pam, so hard being her, eats like a horse and looks like a rake LOL

Good Luck tonight Rosanne, let us know how you go. Will you be eating their food? Or just doing the program?
I am still waiting for the weight loss fairies to come pay me a visit, maybe they didn't get the change of address?

Thanks Dianne it is nice to hear a happy story :-) It's amazing what a couple of kilo's less can do. I think it might take more than a couple of kilo's to give me a new lease on life LOL. Roseanne good on you for trying weight watchers and I hope you find it sucessful.
