Has anyone been watching this? The grand final show was on last night and they all looked amazing :clap: .

We watched the whole series & cannot believe how fantastic they looked last night.

I was so hoping that Matt would win & he did!!! :winner:

We watched it too and I was just gobsmacked at how they all had changed soooooo much. To me the doctor and the black guy were the biggest changes off all, they were just amazing. Only thing is what are they gonna do with all the extra skin they have on there bodies now :Hehe: gonna need some major plastic surgery to get rid of it me thinks.
I too am glad that matt won, mainly because he said that he had been sober for 9 months and being the child of 2 alcoholic parents I know just how hard that is.

Oh!! True??!! Matt won? How cool is that? Hes a nice guy!! I saw the ads for it and they looked amazing! Amazing what 3 months will do with a strict diet and exercise, hey? I hope that they keep it up.

I was watching it, up til the last couppla weeks, then I fell behind...oops!!

They have Shelli - that's what is so great about seeing them again. A lot of them left the show (when it was taped) 6 months ago & to see them how they look now is incredible.

Seth looked fantastic as well. He lifted his top up & you could see his muscles!

He only had a small amount of excess skin on his stomach but that will soon shrink down.

The Aussie version will be good. I wonder where they will be situated for all their training etc.....

I saw a bit of it, I couldn't believe how good some of them looked (the finalists in particular, but also Dr Jeff and the guy who won the $100,000). I didn't really like Matt but I am so impressed at the changes he made in his life (stopped drinking and smoking and lost all the weight - and got a decent haircut!).

Oh my lordy!!! Phew!! What a spunk!! Who wouldda thought that, under all that extra weight there was a spunk inside??!! Thanx for that link, Barbara!! I showed it to Pete and he didnt have a clue as to who it was!!

i applied to go on the australian version of the show. the questionnaire that they asked you to fill in was quite confronting. apparnently 6000 people applied to go on the show.

Gosh 6000!!!

oh well... back to hitting the pavement i guess.

Naomi - we didn't like Matt to start with either because he was so against everything and always bagging things. He wouldn't smile in the group photos & never seemed to see the positive side of things.

But then after a few weeks, once they split the groups up again and paired them into groups of two (one woman & one man) he changed & started getting happier & more positive so to see him at the final, smiling, happy & feeling great, it was really good.

Pete (the dark guy) was awesome & his achievement was fantastic - we were hoping he would get the $100k as well.
