When we moved here in January last year they were everywhere! And I agree - thought they were the ugliest shoe I'd ever seen. Now, they've kind of grown on me. Still don't own a pair though... But, everyone I know says they are the most comfortable shoe they have ever worn, and a lot of the older people are getting them for that reason. They claim they can go shopping, etc and not have aching legs afterwards. So, I'm tempted... but I still can't get past their appearance :)
my kids have them & love them!

Styles???? There's only one style I've seen...
Ok - just actually looked at the website - now that is scary! Have only seen the beach shoe around here, but I'll keep my eye out now - maybe I just haven't recognised them! :)

I'm not really keen on them although I think they look cute on little kids. No matter, I'd probably need to get my birkenstocks surgically removed to wear any other kinds of shoe :hehe:

They might be quite ugly but I want a pair and I'm going to try and get a pair before I go up to Cairns. I think they would be great for gardening, out on the boat and at the beach. If they're as comfortable as they say, then I'm sold. So long as it serves a practical purpose, I can get past the appearance of them. :hehe:

I haven't got a pair yet but I might cave as I've also heard how comfortable they are. My sister swears by them and has a couple of pairs, she has black and brown ones so they don't stick out like you know what . A girlfriend who is a hairdresser and on her feet all day says the same thing, that her legs aren't aching at the end of the day.:)

Cal forced me to try on a pair not that long ago..they did absolutely nothing for me..felt like I was walking along with too huge lumps of plastic hanging off each foot!

Wow Patricia - you are the only person I've heard not love them on (if you can forgive the appearance :hehe:).
Stormy - I'm off to Cairns later this year for a hol! Maybe I'll have to try a pair for the occasion too! Are you moving there or just visiting?

Good on you Patricia I cant see how plastic can be bloody comfy either :) I hate them with passion they do absolutely nothing for anyone's feet, which lets face it feet need all the help they can get (not the cutest part of the body) god I hate feet and the ridiculous colours, I have a friend here that has eww pink and white dotty bloody things and when we are having a serious conversation that requires my attention I can't take my eyes off her hideous feet
they even have them out as gumboots here now:eww: :eww: never ,never will I wear them I don't care if my feet kill me while shopping, they are the ultimate of ugliness
jesus I got carried away with that one guess you know now how I feel  :tyeo:

Well you are one ahead of me - I wouldn't even try them on - yuk :hehe:
Yuk! Ugly, ugly, ugly. And those lurid fluoro colours! I don't like them, they look large and clunky. Some of the styles in that link were better than others. Here, I have only seen the basic Beach style, not the others. Being comfy would be a plus - but not enough for me!

They're popular here too. Adults & kids are wearing them. I"m not interested in them for myself. Don't like the looks or bright colors.

Oh no not moving there. It will take a monumental force to get me to move anywhere unless it is acreage somewhere cool all year round with no neighbours to bug me. :hehe: We're going up that way for a holiday, just for two weeks before uni goes back at the end of July. I can't wait! :y:

I bought mine last April....was shopping with a GF (what else is there to do in Singapore) and my feet were killing me, so I sat while my GF carried on...opposite me was a shoe store with 50% off and I thoiught I would pop in and see what the Croc rave was about...15 minutes and three pairs later (2 for me, 1 for TT) I was soooo ready for more shopping. Like walking on air.
Leigh, just had a sticky at the croc site you posted....I think the Prima ones are cute....might have to get them...perfect for winter.
